| Gary, I spent some time talking to you at Lumos last year before I chose and bought a wand. It stayed in its box for a long time due to one thing or another, including a move across the country, but last night I pulled it out for the Harry Potter Book Release Party and took it along. | Gary, oh master of wands, I have just received the first of many hidden core wands. I have come to expect only the most artistic and beautifully-made wands from you and this new wand lives up to my expectations. The chamber is large enough that I can insert a small feather core chosen from one of the several that have been gifted to me. I also have several hairs from animals that will fit as well. I think I'll go walking in the forest to see what else I can find (to insert in all those future wands I will buy). The top of the core is snug and well-made and the joint is so tight that it is impossible to tell that the top is removable. The finish on the wand is absolutely beautiful. I've been looking for a wand just like this for a long time, so thank you for deciding to make them. | |
