Gary, oh master of wands, I have just received the first of many hidden core wands. I have come to expect only the most artistic and beautifully-made wands from you and this new wand lives up to my expectations. The chamber is large enough that I can insert a small feather core chosen from one of the several that have been gifted to me. I also have several hairs from animals that will fit as well. I think I’ll go walking in the forest to see what else I can find (to insert in all those future wands I will buy). The top of the core is snug and well-made and the joint is so tight that it is impossible to tell that the top is removable. The finish on the wand is absolutely beautiful. I’ve been looking for a wand just like this for a long time, so thank you for deciding to make them. |

Hey Gary, I just received my Excelsior wand. It’s the most handsome, distinguished wand I have ever seen! I have harbored a desire to buy the Excelsior for almost 4 years and I finally did it. I’m thrilled. It couldn’t be more perfect! (The contours are amazing.) I’m definitely bringing it with me to Phoenix Rising next year. Thanks for everything Gary. |

Hi Gary, I just received my beautiful wand this morning…it is lovely! So beautiful in walnut and just what I wanted. Thank you for your gorgeous work of art and for making the experience worth while. I hope to hear from my sister soon about her wand. I'm sure she is as ecstatic as I am. My wand is soooo perfect, well made, and balanced. It is a charm to hold and use! I am hoping to get a wand case to display it in when I’m not using it in ritual because it’s that beautiful. Gary, this is the third wand I have ordered from Whirlwood and each one is better than the last. Your attention to detail is superb, and your quality is far better than other wands I’ve purchased. You have put a lot of work into making each wand well balanced while still possessing a pleasing weight. I especially like the Z-Dragoo, with it’s small hidden compartment, and the fact that you sent it to me unfinished, as I requested. I have been able to apply a smooth linseed oil finish that highlights the beautiful grain of the wood. I am thrilled to have the Z-Dragoo, the Romancian, and the Headmaster, but those aren’t enough. As soon as I can afford it, I’ll be ordering more wands. Your Art and Magick wands are particularly tempting. |
